Where I'm From

I am from two musicians and a busy home

Smiles, laughter, stress, and worry

From camping, hunting, fishing

I am from a hobby farm

With goats, chickens, pigs, rabbits, sheep, ducks, horses

I am from mountains of chores, trees, fragrant lilacs

I am from hours of riding

On trails, bareback, in arenas, horse shows, over fences

And exhibitions on fancy stallions

I am from traditions, love, and God.
